By the abundant grace of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. I Mike, had the opportunity to attend a biblical conference in Atlanta, Georgia where I had the opportunity to meet the Velasquez family and particularly the Lord turned my gaze on a lady who caught my attention by seeing her serve and doing what the Lord demands of a woman virtuous, Daisy Velasquez showed me the example with her testimony of a lady worth knowing, for the summer of 2023 through a conversation with her parents I got permission to meet her and I must say that she was and continues to be the best decision that God himself has guided me to take, by the beginning of 2024 through many difficulties, we decided to announce our relationship to the stage that would later lead to commitment. For the summer of 2024, I knew in my heart, but also by wise advice, that she would be the right one, the ideal help for my life. I decided to get married , and asked her parents for her hand in marriage and making the big question through a proposal. I could see the hand of God working in the hearts of her and her family to be accepted as part of them. Today we are determined, with the peace of the Lord of our decision to get married and for which I want you to be part of this wonderful stage in our lives, we hope to see you in our great and only moment of our lives and be part of our memories.

Por la abundante gracia de nuestro Dios y Salvador Jesucristo. Yo Mike, tuve la oportunidad de asistir a una conferencia bíblica en Atlanta, Georgia donde tuve la oportunidad de conocer a la familia Velásquez y particularmente el Señor dirigió mi mirada a una señorita que me llamó la atención al verla servir y hacer lo que el Señor exige de una mujer virtuosa, Daisy Velásquez me mostró el ejemplo con su testimonio de una dama digna de conocer, para el verano del 2023 a través de una conversación con sus padres obtuve permiso para conocerla y debo decir que fue y sigue siendo la mejor decisión que Dios mismo me ha guiado a tomar. A principios de 2024 a través de muchas dificultades, decidimos anunciar nuestra relación al escenario que luego conduciría al compromiso. Para el verano de 2024, sabía en mi corazón, pero también por sabios consejos, que ella sería la indicada, la ayuda ideal para mi vida. Decidí casarme, le pedí la mano a sus padres y le hice la gran pregunta mediante una propuesta. Pude ver la mano de Dios obrando en el corazón de ella y su familia para ser aceptada como parte de ellos. Hoy estamos decididos, con la paz del Señor de nuestra decisión de casarnos y por lo cual quiero que seas parte de esta maravillosa etapa de nuestras vidas, esperamos verte en nuestro gran y único momento de nuestras vidas y ser parte de nuestros recuerdos.

It all started at a Church Conference in 2023. It was the first time I had meet Mike not knowing that he would be the one whom I would marry. We did not talk much the first day. On the second day he came up and said hi and started a conversation but to be honest I can’t remember all he said that day. After conference week was over I did not expect to see him again and little did I know that he had already spoken to my parents to get my contact information. As we started to get to know each other, we prayed that God would lead us to seek his will in our personal life as well as our family praying for us the only ones that knew about it keeping everything low-key. We saw that the Lord gave us the same desires and love to serve him. We knew that the Lord was leading us into a relationship in 2024 we decided to announce our relationship because we knew that God was confirming us his will. Later on during the summer with the help of my family keeping everything a secret he surprised me with a beautiful proposal and I said “yes”. And today we are happy to say that the Lord brought us together and to announce that we will be tying the knot in March 2025.

Todo comenzó en una Conferencia de la Iglesia en 2023. Era la primera vez que conocí a Mike sin saber que él sería con quien me casaría. No hablamos mucho el primer día. El segundo día se acercó, me saludó y comenzó una conversación, pero para ser honesta, no recuerdo todo lo que dijo ese día. Después de que terminó la semana de conferencia, no esperaba volver a verlo pero no sabía que ya había hablado con mis padres para obtener mi información de contacto. Cuando comenzamos a conocernos, oramos para que Dios nos guiara a buscar su voluntad en nuestra vida personal y nuestra familia también estaban orando por nosotros, los únicos que sabíamos de esto. Vimos que el Señor nos dio los mismos deseos y amor para servirle. Sabíamos que el Señor nos estaba guiando a una relación, en el 2024 decidimos anunciar nuestra relación porque sabíamos que Dios nos estaba confirmando su voluntad. Más tarde, durante el verano, con la ayuda de mi familia manteniendo todo en secreto, me sorprendió con una hermosa propuesta y le dije “Sí”. Y hoy estamos felices de decir que el Señor nos unió y también para anunciar que nos casaremos en marzo de 2025.
